In 2007, the INTERFACE project cycle was introduced and from the beginning it was designed in such a way that it would build up, over a period of time, forms of sustainable cooperation, between Youth of Europe and South-East Asia.
INTERFACE I
The first one – INTERFACE brought European youngsters to interact with civil society in Cambodia in the framework of EVS.
Non-formal experience, voluntary activity, cultural diversity, peace and human rights - these are the key subjects of the project Interface I. But this is the very theoretical description of the objectives of Interface I. In practice this means that Interface I is a Youth Exchange Program; it gives young Europeans the chance to live and work six months abroad. They have the possibility to know more about different cultures and traditions, to gain work experience in a Non-European country, to improve their languages skills and their flexibility.
The sending organisations are bbjshare.it and Eurocultura in Italy, Eurocircle in France and LIFE in Germany. The partners and host organisations are the Cambodian NGOs, Youth for Peace, Khmer Youth and Social Development, Youth Research Development and bbjshare.it.
